Hello, I’m Ioana Cheres
a machine learning engineer from Cluj-Napoca
My journey in machine learning began in the Distributed Systems Research Laboratory of Technical University of Cluj-Napoca where I worked as a Big Data Engineer for three years.
I implemented machine learning algorithms that made predictions on real time-series energy data extracted from all over Europe. Because the data was collected from standalone applications I also designed the distributed architecture and the underlining APIs that made the whole system work.
The art was one of my passions from early ages.
My art projects focus on the impact of misinformation and comes as a meaningful way to experience technology.
By using technology elements like deepfakes, real-time image manipulation and artificial intelligence I combine in my works artificial intelligence and art in a unique way in order to
create a complex and surreal environment.
